It’s been a long, long week. Multiple encounters with the enemy of our souls, helping folks with lots of very tough life issues; several early morning meetings and some big decisions—and lots of busyness. Honestly, I’m really tired. But then, in a matter of minutes tonight, everything changed. With an emergency C-section, my sweet little daughter-in-law, Mary, and my son David, delivered a new, little prophet into the world: Elijah David Elliff. Mary gained 10 lbs. in her pregnancy and delivered a strapping, 8 lb. 10 oz. boy. What a champ! All are well. AND INSTANTLY, I AM WELL. Refreshed....

As you may know, where the Temple stood there is now a Muslim mosque (the Dome of the Rock). The Temple Mount area is militarily controlled by the Israeli's, but the ""holy places"" of the mount are monitored by the Muslims. And, it is source of intense tension....

Remembering Who has Done it All

One of the greatest indications of humility (which is the doorway to everything) is gratitude. Show me a man who is not consistently thankful, and I will show you a man who is proud; who feels entitled; who thinks that HE has accomplished all that has happened around him.
