How do you view your problems? Do they seem like giants before you, absolutely impossible to overcome? Threats that will keep you from entering into all that God has for you?
God sees our problems as bread and faith comes by aligning our perspectives with His.
In Numbers, Chapter 14, we read of the Israelite's reactions after the twelve spies had crossed Jordan to spy out the Promised Land. Ten of the spies were terrified and told the people of the giants that were in the land and the great, fortified cities. Two spies (Joshua and Caleb) saw these obstacles with the eyes of faith. Here was the two faithful spy's challenge.
"Only do not rebel against the Lord; and do not fear the people of the land, for they will be our prey (literally "bread"). Their protection has been removed from them, and the Lord is with us; do not fear them." (Numbers 14:9)
The people chose to believe the majority report and wandered for 40 years in the wilderness. All of them except Joshua and Caleb died in these wanderings. If they had seen with the eyes of faith, they would have believed that the giants were no obstacle for God. God called them "bread," i.e., that which will simply nourish you as you walk by faith.
Every obstacle to you is nothing to God. But here is the determining factor: will you listen to Him and get His report on the problem? Will you then trust Him to do what He has promised and follow Him unreservedly? Will you believe the spiritual, despite the material?
If so, your obstacles will nourish you instead of stopping you.
Father, let me see my problems as You see them. Let me listen to You through the Spirit and Your Word so that I face each difficulty with faith, believing that with You, nothing is impossible. Give me many testimonies of answered prayer so that You will be more greatly glorified.
